Oven Repair in Everett, WA

An oven that fails right before Thanksgiving is an Everett tradition we’re happy to disrupt. HotWire’s oven repair techs handle wall ovens, range ovens, steam ovens, and speed ovens across every brand, same-day when possible.

Oven Problems Common in Everett Homes

  • Oven not heating to set temperature. Bake or broil element failure on electric ovens. Gas igniter weak on gas ovens. Or thermostat/thermistor drift causing incorrect temperature reading. Diagnosis with a probe thermometer is standard on every call.
  • Uneven baking, one side hotter than the other. Convection fan motor failed. Or the fan itself unbalanced. Older wall ovens in Historic District and Rucker Hill Craftsman built-in cabinets often see this after 10+ years.
  • Self-clean cycle killed the oven. Chronic problem. Self-clean runs at temperatures approaching 900°F, which stresses control boards, thermal fuses, and door lock mechanisms. Wolf DF, Thermador Pro, and KitchenAid Pro units frequently fail after a self-clean cycle. We repair the cascade of damage.
  • Door won’t unlock after self-clean. Door lock motor or thermal cutoff triggered. Standard repair, parts on the truck for major brands.
  • Control panel display dark or unresponsive. Control board failure, keypad membrane damage, or power supply issue. Fault codes when displayed help pinpoint the failure quickly.
  • Wall oven cutout too small for modern replacement. Many Historic District and Rucker Hill Craftsmans have 27-inch built-in wall oven cutouts. Modern standard is 30 inches. When a wall oven fails past economical repair, we can either source a replacement 27-inch unit (limited but available) or coordinate cabinet modification for a 30-inch install. Standard discussion at diagnostic when replacement enters the conversation.

Oven Types We Service in Everett

Wall ovens (single and double) appear in Historic District built-in cabinets and in newer Rucker Hill custom kitchens. Wolf E-series and M-series, Thermador Professional Series, Miele Contour and M-Touch, KitchenAid Smart, Bosch 500/800 wall ovens, GE Cafe and Monogram, JennAir Rise/Noir. We service every one. Range ovens (part of freestanding or slide-in ranges) are handled under the range repair category but we cross-reference between service categories when a customer isn’t sure which they have. Steam ovens (Wolf CSO, Miele DGC, Thermador MES) appear in newer premium Everett kitchens. Specialty service. Speed ovens (microwave-convection combo units from Wolf, KitchenAid, GE Advantium, Miele) also served. Warming drawers, wall-mounted refrigerator drawers, and specialty units like coffee-maker-plumbed built-ins from Miele and Wolf all get manufacturer-authorized service.

Bake or broil element (electric) $195 to $295. Igniter (gas) $225 to $325. Control board $425 to $785. Thermal fuse $155 to $225. Convection fan motor $325 to $525. Door hinge or lock mechanism $185 to $395. Door gasket $155 to $275. Premium brands (Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking) can run 20 to 35% higher due to premium parts pricing.
Yes. Factory-authorized on Wolf, Thermador (Star Trained), and Miele platforms with the manufacturer diagnostic tools, service software, and parts channel access these premium brands require. Rucker Hill custom kitchen addresses are core service territory.
Most often a failed convection fan motor (oven is now cooking by radiant heat alone, causing hot spots), or a temperature sensor drift causing the oven to run hotter or cooler than displayed. Both are standard repairs. We verify with a probe thermometer during diagnostic.
Yes. We prioritize oven and cooking appliance repair in the two weeks before Thanksgiving and again before Christmas. If you call the week of, we do everything we can to fit you in. If you're planning ahead, book by early November for guaranteed Thanksgiving-ready service.

Why Choose HotWire for Oven Repair in Everett

Oven repair in Everett requires more brand-specific training than any other appliance category. Wolf, Thermador, Viking, and Miele wall ovens each have distinctive control systems, unique failure modes, and parts channels only authorized techs can access. A generic appliance tech guessing at a Wolf convection fan failure or a Thermador control board diagnostic can easily make the wrong call and turn a $600 repair into a $2,500 disaster. Our lead oven techs are factory-trained on Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking, and KitchenAid platforms with the manufacturer diagnostic software and parts channel access these brands require.

Every oven repair starts with reading the fault codes (modern units) and probe-thermometer verification of actual temperature vs. display reading. That data drives an accurate diagnosis. We write the repair flat-rate before the wrench turns, complete the work with parts stocked from our supply network, and calibrate the oven after repair to verify accurate temperature control.

Same-day dispatch across Everett for morning oven repair bookings. Priority scheduling during holiday cooking seasons (Thanksgiving through New Year). 90-day workmanship warranty on all repairs. Full manufacturer parts warranty.

Everett dispatch runs out of our Bothell office. We cover every Everett ZIP for oven repair same-day when we can, and back that up with emergency response for critical failures. Snohomish County service extends to Bothell, Mukilteo, Marysville, Lake Stevens, Mill Creek, and Snohomish. Call to book.

Excellent experience with HotWire. We replaced an old AC unit and furnace with a new dual-fuel heat pump and furnace. They was extremely responsive and honest — patiently answered all my detailed questions, right-sized the system rather than overselling, and was transparent on pricing and rebates. Competitive quote, clean professional install, permits and inspection handled. Highly recommend for anyone in similar needs!

Alex was incredibly helpful when my washer wouldn’t drain. He quickly identified the root cause and I was able to schedule the repair for the day after the new part was ordered. Alex was professional, efficient, and I sincerely appreciated his attention to detail. He made sure that everything was running properly before leaving and even helped resolve some other issues in my apartment, such as finding what was causing the beeping in the laundry room and helping with a loose cabinet door.

I would highly recommend Alex for any form of repair! (And my cat was a fan too)

Dropping from 5 stars to 1 because of technician lack of professionalism and demeanor. Alex K was efficient, thorough, on time, and temporarily fixed my dishwasher. It was not draining and the arm had fallen off - he fixed the drain problem but the arm has fallen off again since. It cost $270 and I tipped him. However, immediately after he left, the garbage disposal did not work. I called the company back and they sent him back after a few days. He was not interested in hearing my concerns, asked if I would accuse him of breaking the fridge if that stopped working, and was very confrontational. He told me that it would be $200 to repair because of a problem with the electric panel supplying the dishwasher. I told Alex K that I was going to get a second opinion and that if he was right, I would acknowledge that, and if he was wrong, I would change my review and notify the company. He stormed out of my house essentially yelling at me for wasting his time.

I just had that second opinion from Eco Electric, Plumbing, and Heating. My tech, Zach, looked under the sink, found the outlet, and pushed the reset button. Voila. Garbage disposal working again. $50 consult fee and an even better tip for him.

I do not recommend Hotwire Furnace, and I definitely do not recommend Alex K.

Alex K was our technician, he was professional and informative. He knew right away when he heard the pump what was wrong.

Very appreciative of the company and Alex's work. Highly recommend.

The fan motor in my old freezer failed. An original part was no longer available, but the HotWire tech found a compatible motor and replaced it. That was about 8 months ago. The motor sounds a little different, but I haven’t had any issues with the freezer. The technician was very professional, friendly, and got the work done efficiently. Very happy with the work and the results!

I had my refrigerator serviced recently, and the experience was positive. The technician showed up right on time and was professional throughout the visit. They quickly identified the problem and gave a clear explanation of the required repair steps and costs involved.

The work was completed efficiently and to a high standard, but I did feel the price was on the higher side. Despite that, the quality and promptness of the service were impressive. I’d recommend them if you’re looking for reliable and professional repairs, though the cost might be a consideration.
