Oven Repair in Sammamish, WA

An oven that fails right before Thanksgiving is a Sammamish tradition we’re happy to disrupt. HotWire’s oven repair techs handle wall ovens, range ovens, steam ovens, and speed ovens across every brand in Plateau homes — same-day when possible, always with a fair quote.

Oven Problems Common in Sammamish Homes

  • Oven not heating to set temperature — bake or broil element failure on electric ovens, gas igniter weak on gas ovens, or thermostat/thermistor drift causing incorrect temperature reading. Diagnosis with a probe thermometer is standard.
  • Uneven baking — one side hotter than the other — convection fan motor failed, or the fan itself unbalanced. Custom Sammamish kitchens with double wall ovens (Wolf, Thermador, KitchenAid, Miele) often have one oven get more use than the other, and the neglected unit’s convection fan seizes.
  • Self-clean cycle killed the oven — this is chronic in Sammamish oven brand distribution. Self-clean runs at temperatures approaching 900°F, which stresses control boards, thermal fuses, and door lock mechanisms. Wolf DF, Thermador Pro, Viking VDSC, and KitchenAid Pro units frequently fail after a self-clean cycle. We repair the cascade of damage this creates.
  • Door won’t unlock after self-clean — door lock motor or thermal cutoff triggered. Standard repair, and we carry the parts for major brands.
  • Control panel display dark or unresponsive — control board failure, keypad membrane damage, or power supply issue. Fault codes when displayed help pinpoint the failure quickly.
  • Steam oven or speed oven issues — Sammamish luxury kitchens increasingly include Miele steam ovens, Wolf speed ovens (microwave-convection combos), and dedicated warming drawers. All specialty repairs, all within our capability.

Oven Types We Service in Sammamish

Wall ovens — single and double — are the Sammamish luxury kitchen standard, especially in Sahalee, Inglewood Hill, and East Lake Sammamish Parkway custom homes. Wolf E-series and M-series wall ovens, Thermador Professional Series, Miele Contour and M-Touch, KitchenAid Smart, Bosch 500/800 wall ovens, GE Cafe and Monogram, JennAir Rise/Noir — we service every one. Range ovens (part of freestanding or slide-in ranges) are handled under the range repair category, but we cross-reference between service categories when a customer isn’t sure which they have. Steam ovens (Wolf CSO, Miele DGC steam ovens, Thermador MES) are specialty units common in Sammamish premium kitchens; we service them fully. Speed ovens (microwave-convection combo units from Wolf, KitchenAid, GE Advantium, Miele) also served. Warming drawers, wall-mounted refrigerator drawers, and specialty units like coffee-maker-plumbed built-ins from Miele and Wolf all get manufacturer-authorized service.

Common repairs: bake or broil element (electric) $195–$295, igniter (gas) $225–$325, control board $425–$785, thermal fuse $155–$225, convection fan motor $325–$525, door hinge or lock mechanism $185–$395, door gasket $155–$275. Premium brands (Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking) can run 20–35% higher due to premium parts pricing. Every price is written flat-rate before work.
Yes — factory-authorized on Wolf, Thermador (Star Trained), and Miele platforms with the manufacturer diagnostic tools, service software, and parts channel access these premium brands require. Sammamish custom kitchen addresses are core service territory for us.
Most often it's a failed convection fan motor (oven is now cooking by radiant heat alone, causing hot spots), or a temperature sensor drift causing the oven to run hotter or cooler than displayed. Both are standard repairs. We verify with a probe thermometer during diagnostic and give you the specific fix needed.
Yes — we prioritize oven and cooking appliance repair in the two weeks before Thanksgiving and again before Christmas. If you call the week of, we do everything we can to fit you in. If you're planning ahead, book by early November for guaranteed Thanksgiving-ready service.

Oven repair in Sammamish requires more brand-specific training than any other appliance category. Wolf, Thermador, Viking, and Miele wall ovens each have distinctive control systems, unique failure modes, and parts channels that only authorized techs can access. A generic appliance tech guessing at a Wolf convection fan failure or a Thermador control board diagnostic can easily make the wrong call and turn a $600 repair into a $2,500 disaster. Our lead oven techs are factory-trained on Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking, and KitchenAid platforms with the manufacturer diagnostic software and parts channel access these brands require.

Every oven repair starts with reading the fault codes (modern units) and probe-thermometer verification of actual temperature vs display. That data drives an accurate diagnosis. We write the repair flat-rate before the wrench turns, complete the work with parts stocked from our supply network, and calibrate the oven after repair to verify accurate temperature control. Some Wolf and Thermador units require post-repair temperature calibration procedures that involve manufacturer service software — we run those procedures as part of the repair.

Same-day dispatch across Sammamish for morning oven repair bookings. Priority scheduling during holiday cooking seasons (Thanksgiving through New Year). 90-day workmanship warranty on all repairs; full manufacturer parts warranty. We service every Plateau neighborhood, gated or otherwise.

Our refrigerator stopped properly cooling. While it wasn't completely out. it just wasn't cool enough to keep things fresh. Called Hotwire on Friday. Technician came out Saturday morning. Vlad is a young fellow but very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem which was a frozen stuck fan. After removing the freezer tray, he pulled out his magic steamer gadget and defrosted the coils. He did a thorough job cleaning up and putting everything together. Happy to have things running again ahead of Superbowl Sunday.

The team here was great. I had an issue with a dishwasher, they were quick to diagnose it and informed us of reasonable alternatives. We chose to repair it, they ordered the part and installed it. Throughout, they were communicative, helpful, and nice. The price was reasonable as well. I'd go back to them for any appliance issues in the future!

My LG fridge/freezer stopped cooling. I called Rain City around 8pm, and they were able to get a technician out before Noon the next day. After inspecting the problem the tech informed me that the compressor went out, which is a somewhat common problem on LGs. He'd be able to fix it right away if I wanted. Given the labor needed to replace the compressor, I decided to just replace the refrigerator instead.
I was pleased how he explained the issue and presented me with various options. I'd definitely recommend.
