Commercial Fryer Repair in Redmond WA

Fryer not holding oil temperature in Redmond? Same-day repair for gas and electric commercial fryers. Pitco, Frymaster, all brands.

Commercial Fryer Problems We Fix in Redmond

  • Fryer not reaching or holding proper oil temperature — usually a failed thermostat, heating element, or gas valve — all standard first-visit fixes
  • Pilot light or electric ignition failing — a bad thermocouple on gas fryers or failed ignitor on electric — inexpensive standard parts
  • Oil overheating past the set temperature — a safety concern requiring immediate diagnosis — usually a bad thermostat or stuck valve
  • Thermostat reading inaccurately — we calibrate against a reference probe to verify actual oil temperature versus display reading
  • Heating element not working on an electric fryer — a standard replacement part for Pitco and Frymaster equipment common in Redmond
  • Slow heat recovery between fry batches — typically a partially failed element, undersized fryer for the volume, or scale buildup on elements
  • Basket lift mechanism malfunctioning — a broken lift cable, failed motor, or control board issue — inexpensive to repair
  • Gas smell or burner producing an uneven flame — a same-day priority — could be a gas leak or burner assembly needing cleaning or replacement
  • Oil level sensor not reading accurately — we calibrate against actual oil level rather than relying solely on the display reading
  • Grease trap or drain line clogging repeatedly — sometimes a fryer issue and sometimes a broader plumbing issue — we help isolate which

Commercial Fryer Types We Service in Redmond

Gas Deep Fryers — the standard in most Redmond restaurant kitchens, from single-basket to multi-battery setups.

Electric Deep Fryers — common in Redmond kitchens without a dedicated gas line or in smaller cafe setups.

Pressure Fryers — serviced for Redmond restaurants running specialized fried menu items.

Yes, Pitco is the brand we see most often across Redmond kitchens and we carry common Pitco parts on our service vans — thermostats, thermocouples, gas valves, and heating elements. Most first-visit repairs use parts already on the truck. Pitco parts availability on our vans is deep enough that first-visit fixes are the norm rather than the exception — you shouldn't need to schedule a second visit for common failure points.
This usually points to a partially failed heating element on electric units, a restricted burner or clogged gas orifice on gas fryers, or a failing thermostat that's cycling incorrectly. We test each during the diagnostic visit rather than guessing. For fryers running consistently slow heat recovery, sometimes the fix is calibrating the elements to work harder, and sometimes it's replacing the elements outright — we test to determine which.
Same-day service is standard for fryer calls, since it's one of the most schedule-critical pieces of equipment in a Redmond kitchen. Call as early as possible for the widest window — morning calls almost always get same-day resolution. Lunch and dinner rush windows are protected on our dispatch board specifically for restaurant emergency calls — we build the schedule around your service hours rather than the reverse.
90 days parts and labor on every repair we complete. Documentation of calibrated temperature readings is provided for your inspection and safety records. Documentation of calibrated temperature readings after repair is included at no additional cost and often saves you from failed inspections that would have required a re-service.

Commercial fryer work sits at the intersection of speed and safety — a fryer that won’t hold temperature stalls a Redmond kitchen fast, but a fryer that overheats past its set point becomes a real fire hazard. Our techs test both directions during diagnosis: heat rise time to confirm the elements or burners are working, and high-limit shutoff to confirm the safety controls will catch a runaway.

We service Pitco and Frymaster equipment most often — those two brands cover the large majority of Redmond restaurant fryers — plus the specialty pressure fryers used at chicken-focused kitchens. Thermostats, thermocouples, gas valves, and heating elements are all standard first-visit parts on our commercial vans.

We work around service hours where possible, since fryer downtime during lunch or dinner rush is a direct revenue hit. Every commercial fryer repair in Redmond carries our 90-day parts and labor warranty, and we document the calibrated temperature readings for your inspection records.

Oil quality matters for both food quality and equipment longevity — old, degraded oil accelerates burner and element wear, plus it produces off-flavors that hurt your Redmond kitchen’s reputation. During fryer service visits, we’ll flag oil that’s past its useful life and recommend filtration schedules that extend both oil and equipment lifespan. Little details like this aren’t listed on our services page but they’re part of how we actually work.

For Redmond restaurants running high-volume fryer operations — quick-service, chicken concepts, or catering kitchens — preventive maintenance schedules typically pay for themselves within the first year through avoided emergency service calls and extended equipment lifespan. We’re happy to propose maintenance programs sized to your actual fryer utilization rather than generic quarterly intervals.

Our refrigerator stopped properly cooling. While it wasn't completely out. it just wasn't cool enough to keep things fresh. Called Hotwire on Friday. Technician came out Saturday morning. Vlad is a young fellow but very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem which was a frozen stuck fan. After removing the freezer tray, he pulled out his magic steamer gadget and defrosted the coils. He did a thorough job cleaning up and putting everything together. Happy to have things running again ahead of Superbowl Sunday.

The team here was great. I had an issue with a dishwasher, they were quick to diagnose it and informed us of reasonable alternatives. We chose to repair it, they ordered the part and installed it. Throughout, they were communicative, helpful, and nice. The price was reasonable as well. I'd go back to them for any appliance issues in the future!

My LG fridge/freezer stopped cooling. I called Rain City around 8pm, and they were able to get a technician out before Noon the next day. After inspecting the problem the tech informed me that the compressor went out, which is a somewhat common problem on LGs. He'd be able to fix it right away if I wanted. Given the labor needed to replace the compressor, I decided to just replace the refrigerator instead.
I was pleased how he explained the issue and presented me with various options. I'd definitely recommend.
