Professional Oven Repair Service in Kirkland, WA

Kirkland is a city that takes its food seriously — from the farm-to-table restaurants along Park Lane to the home cooks who spend Saturday mornings baking for the Juanita Friday Market. When your oven stops heating properly, refuses to hold temperature, or will not turn on at all, your entire kitchen routine falls apart. Our oven repair technicians serve every Kirkland neighborhood with same-day appointments, because microwaving leftovers is not a long-term plan.

Common Oven Problems

Ovens endure extreme temperatures every time you cook, and internal components break down over time. Here is what Kirkland homeowners call us about most:

Oven not heating at all — a dead igniter in gas models or a burned-out bake element in electric ovens. This is the single most common oven repair we handle in Kirkland, and it happens year-round.

Oven temperature is off by 25 to 50 degrees — a drifting temperature sensor or a thermostat that needs recalibration. Home bakers in the Moss Bay and Houghton neighborhoods notice this first when recipes start turning out wrong.

Oven heating unevenly — hot spots and cold zones caused by a failing convection fan, a dying element, or a damaged door gasket leaking heat. If your cookies burn on one side, this is the likely culprit.

Self-clean feature broke the oven — the extreme heat of the self-clean cycle blows thermal fuses and jams door latch assemblies more often than any other oven function. We get a spike in these calls after Thanksgiving and Christmas across Kirkland.

Gas oven smells like gas — a weak igniter that glows but does not reach the temperature needed to open the gas valve, letting small amounts of raw gas escape. This requires immediate professional attention.

Oven door won’t close properly — bent hinges, a warped frame, or a deteriorated door seal. Heat escapes, cook times increase, and your energy bill goes up.

Gas Oven & Stove Repair

Gas ovens require a technician trained in gas valve assemblies, igniter timing, and combustion safety. Many Kirkland homes — especially in the Norkirk, Everest, and Forbes Creek neighborhoods — are connected to the Puget Sound Energy natural gas grid. We repair gas ovens from every manufacturer and perform a gas leak check after every repair. Gas stove repair is handled alongside oven work since most gas ranges combine both in one unit.

Samsung Oven Repair

Samsung ovens with flex-duo dividers, air fry modes, and Wi-Fi controls are feature-rich but complex. Samsung oven repair in Kirkland commonly involves control board errors, temperature sensor failures, and convection fan problems. We carry Samsung control boards and igniter kits for the most popular models.

Electric Oven Repair

Electric ovens depend on bake and broil elements that run at extreme temperatures and eventually crack or burn out. Electric oven repair is our bread and butter — we stock elements for GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and KitchenAid and handle these repairs daily across Kirkland.

Viking Oven Repair

Viking ovens are a fixture in the upscale kitchens along Kirkland’s waterfront — Waverly Way, Champagne Point, and the Yarrow Bay area. These professional-grade units need factory-trained service because of their commercial-style burner systems and heavy-duty build. We handle Viking oven repair including thermostat recalibration, igniter replacement, and convection motor service.

Commercial Oven Repair

Kirkland’s growing restaurant scene along Park Lane, Kirkland Avenue, and in the Totem Lake commercial district depends on commercial ovens running through every service. We handle commercial oven repair for restaurants, bakeries, and catering kitchens — deck ovens, convection ovens, and combination units.

Most oven repairs in Kirkland range from $150 to $400. Igniter and element replacements are on the lower end. Control board and gas valve repairs cost more. We provide an exact quote after diagnosis — no work begins until you approve the price.
If the smell is strong or lingers, stop using the oven, open windows, and call us immediately. A faint smell when the oven first ignites is normal, but a persistent gas odor usually means a weak igniter that is not opening the gas valve properly. We prioritize gas smell calls for same-day service.
Yes. We repair single wall ovens, double wall ovens, and built-in oven-microwave combos. Wall ovens are common in Kirkland kitchens, especially in homes that were remodeled in the Houghton and Moss Bay neighborhoods. We service all brands and configurations.
This happens frequently. The self-clean cycle pushes oven temperatures to 900 degrees or more, which blows thermal fuses and jams door latch mechanisms. We carry replacement fuses and latch assemblies and can usually get your oven working again the same day.

Our refrigerator stopped properly cooling. While it wasn't completely out. it just wasn't cool enough to keep things fresh. Called Hotwire on Friday. Technician came out Saturday morning. Vlad is a young fellow but very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem which was a frozen stuck fan. After removing the freezer tray, he pulled out his magic steamer gadget and defrosted the coils. He did a thorough job cleaning up and putting everything together. Happy to have things running again ahead of Superbowl Sunday.

The team here was great. I had an issue with a dishwasher, they were quick to diagnose it and informed us of reasonable alternatives. We chose to repair it, they ordered the part and installed it. Throughout, they were communicative, helpful, and nice. The price was reasonable as well. I'd go back to them for any appliance issues in the future!

My LG fridge/freezer stopped cooling. I called Rain City around 8pm, and they were able to get a technician out before Noon the next day. After inspecting the problem the tech informed me that the compressor went out, which is a somewhat common problem on LGs. He'd be able to fix it right away if I wanted. Given the labor needed to replace the compressor, I decided to just replace the refrigerator instead.
I was pleased how he explained the issue and presented me with various options. I'd definitely recommend.
