Commercial Oven and Range Repair in Kirkland, WA

When a commercial oven quits heating or a range burner refuses to light, your kitchen slows to a crawl. Kirkland’s restaurants — from the waterfront dining spots on Lake Street to the fast-casual kitchens at Totem Lake — depend on ranges and ovens that fire reliably through every shift. Our technicians repair commercial ovens, ranges, stoves, and range hoods for Kirkland restaurants with same-day dispatch and on-site diagnosis.

Common Commercial Oven and Range Problems in Kirkland

Oven not heating to set temperature — a failing thermostat, a worn igniter on gas models, or a burned-out heating element on electric units. This is the single most common commercial oven repair call we get in Kirkland.

Gas burners lighting unevenly or not at all — clogged burner ports from grease buildup, a cracked igniter electrode, or a gas valve that sticks. Kitchens running heavy saute and wok stations generate more airborne grease that settles into burner assemblies.

Convection oven fan not spinning — a burned-out fan motor or a seized bearing. Convection ovens in Kirkland bakeries and catering kitchens along Market Street run long hours and burn through fan motors every two to four years under heavy use.

Range hood exhaust fan weak or noisy — grease accumulation on fan blades, a worn motor bearing, or a slipping belt on belt-driven systems. Kirkland’s fire code requires functional exhaust — a failing hood fan can trigger a health department citation.

Oven door not closing properly — worn hinges, a damaged gasket, or a warped door frame from repeated high-heat cycles. Heat loss from a bad door seal wastes gas, raises kitchen temperature, and extends cook times.

Temperature swings during baking — a cycling thermostat, a failing sensor, or an intermittent gas supply issue. Kirkland restaurants on older gas infrastructure in the Norkirk and downtown corridor sometimes see pressure fluctuations that affect oven performance.

Vulcan Commercial Range and Oven Repair

Vulcan ranges and ovens are workhorses in Kirkland commercial kitchens. We service the entire Vulcan line — from the V-Series gas ranges to the VC convection ovens. Common Vulcan repairs include thermostat replacement, burner tube cleaning and replacement, igniter swaps, and oven door hinge rebuilds. Vulcan equipment holds up well mechanically, but gas components corrode faster in Kirkland’s humid air. We carry Vulcan-compatible parts and handle most repairs in a single visit.

Wolf Commercial Range Repair

Wolf commercial ranges show up in upscale Kirkland restaurants and high-end catering operations, especially in the Market district and along the waterfront. Wolf equipment demands precise calibration — the sealed burners, infrared broilers, and convection systems are engineered to tighter tolerances than standard commercial ranges. We handle Wolf burner valve rebuilds, thermostat recalibration, and ignition module replacements. Our technicians have specific experience with Wolf’s dual-fuel models that combine gas burners with electric convection ovens.

Garland Commercial Oven Repair

Garland ranges and convection ovens are common in mid-volume Kirkland kitchens — the Master Series especially. We repair gas valve assemblies, replace worn igniters, and diagnose control board failures across the full Garland line. Garland convection ovens develop fan motor issues under heavy use, and the motor mounting design on older models makes replacement a two-person job. Our team handles it on-site.

Commercial Range Hood and Exhaust Repair

Range hoods and kitchen exhaust systems require regular maintenance and prompt repair to meet King County fire and health codes. We service exhaust fan motors, replace hood filters, repair makeup air units, and troubleshoot control system failures. Kirkland restaurants generate heavy grease loads that clog exhaust components faster in humid conditions. We also inspect and clean fan blades, belts, and bearings as part of every hood service call.

Commercial Gas and Electric Stove Repair

Beyond the major brands, we repair commercial stoves and ranges from Blodgett, Imperial, Montague, Southbend, and others. Gas stove repair typically involves burner valve replacement, pilot assembly service, and gas line leak testing. Electric range repair focuses on element replacement, infinite switch failures, and wiring harness issues. We handle both fuel types and carry universal components that fit most commercial stove models.

Most commercial oven and range repairs in Kirkland run $200 to $650. Igniter and thermocouple replacements are on the lower end. Gas valve assemblies, control boards, and fan motor swaps cost more. Convection oven fan motor replacement typically falls in the $350 to $550 range including parts and labor. We provide a written estimate before starting any work.
Yes. We repair exhaust fan motors, replace hood filters, service makeup air units, and troubleshoot control systems for commercial range hoods in Kirkland restaurants. Hood exhaust repairs are code-sensitive work — King County requires functional exhaust in every commercial kitchen. We document our work for your inspection records.
We service Rational, Alto-Shaam, and Vulcan combi ovens. These units combine steam and convection heating and require technicians who understand both boiler-side and airflow-side diagnostics. Combi oven repairs in Kirkland typically involve descaling the steam generator, replacing door gaskets, and diagnosing control board errors.
Same-day for calls before noon. Our Eastside dispatchers route technicians from multiple locations, so Kirkland restaurants from the waterfront to Rose Hill typically see a tech within two hours. Oven failures during active service hours get priority — we know a cold kitchen means turning away customers.

Our refrigerator stopped properly cooling. While it wasn't completely out. it just wasn't cool enough to keep things fresh. Called Hotwire on Friday. Technician came out Saturday morning. Vlad is a young fellow but very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem which was a frozen stuck fan. After removing the freezer tray, he pulled out his magic steamer gadget and defrosted the coils. He did a thorough job cleaning up and putting everything together. Happy to have things running again ahead of Superbowl Sunday.

The team here was great. I had an issue with a dishwasher, they were quick to diagnose it and informed us of reasonable alternatives. We chose to repair it, they ordered the part and installed it. Throughout, they were communicative, helpful, and nice. The price was reasonable as well. I'd go back to them for any appliance issues in the future!

My LG fridge/freezer stopped cooling. I called Rain City around 8pm, and they were able to get a technician out before Noon the next day. After inspecting the problem the tech informed me that the compressor went out, which is a somewhat common problem on LGs. He'd be able to fix it right away if I wanted. Given the labor needed to replace the compressor, I decided to just replace the refrigerator instead.
I was pleased how he explained the issue and presented me with various options. I'd definitely recommend.
